Eric Van der Kleij is a visionary and pragmatic technology personality, entrepreneur and CEO of Co-founder of edenbase.com, a company focused on building the community leading the future. Eric is an expert in super growth strategies. He is also behind FrontierNetwork.com (formerly C4DR.com), an international hub focussed on Blockchain, Fintech & AI, having previously created and led the famous Fintech hub #Level39 for the Canary Wharf Group between 2013 and 2016. He is Chairman of distributed ledger company Activeledger.io and quantum-safe security business Keybox.co. He also chairs the crypto-finance-conference.com in St Moritz, Switzerland. Across his extensive experience, Eric van der Kleij has been trying to support and bring growth to all the companies and projects he has been involved with.
Simon Thompson is Head of AI, ML and Data Science at GFT in the UK and brings nearly 30 years’ experience of using machine learning to create value for customers. His team delivers a systematic and scientific approach to AI, drawing on GFT’s comprehensive and deep knowledge of financial services as an industry. Simon provides technical leadership within the projects he conducts and has led and coordinated large teams in highly stressful situations to successful outcomes. He regularly participates in mentoring for junior members of his and other teams on all aspects of AI and machine learning. He has a consultative approach to work and is continuously looking for new challenges and opportunities to grow his knowledge.
Tobias Hartung studied mathematics (physics minor) at TU Dresden graduating with a Dipl. Math. in 2013. He obtained his PhD in mathematics from King’s College London in 2015. Having held academic positions at King’s College London and the University of Bath, he joined Northeastern University London in 2022. Tobias is currently an Associate Professor in Computer Science.
